Why Following Your Passion Is Terrible Advice

Let's cut the crap.

"Follow your passion" is the worst business advice ever.

Period.

I fell for it. Hard. My first venture? A complete disaster.

Here's the cold, hard truth: Passion doesn't pay bills. Skills do.

The Real Path to Success

Success isn't about chasing rainbows. It's about building something you're damn good at.

Something that becomes an extension of who you are.

Think about it. The world's top performers - they're not just passionate. They're skilled. Obsessively so.

They've turned their craft into their identity.

The Passion Paradox

Here's the kicker: True passion isn't found. It's forged.

In the furnace of:

  • Deliberate practice
  • Relentless iteration
  • Countless failures

You don't start passionate. You become passionate.

Through work. Through growth. Through wins.
